The author of SimplySupplyChain.com is Douglas Ingram.  Douglas has been involved in all aspects of today’s modern day supply chain and has a particular interest and expertise in applying advanced technologies to the operationally complex environments customary to the supply chain.

Douglas Ingram began his career as a licensed third-mate sailing on US flagged vessels and moved on to increasing responsibilities and management roles with transportation software entities and large supply chain entities including UPS and DHL.

Mr. Ingram has a BS in Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY and also has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Georgia with a specialization in finance.  Mr. Ingram has also achieved continuing education and certificates from University of California, Berkeley and Oracle in Database Administration and Database Design & Methodologies.
