Good point as well on grasping the parts that work in a startup (i.e. flexibility, open communication, etc.) and also retaining the big company items that help you scale your business (i.e. standardized procedures, protocols, etc.)  Really appreciate the feedback and comments and good luck on your startup.  Your doing some awesome things in the mobile app space!</description>

		<description>Great article Doug.  Moving from a large complex organization to a startup myself recently, I like the flexibility and entrepreneurship that comes with the startup way of life.  I do caution however that sometimes even I miss the feeling of structure and &quot;go-to&quot; processes, and so while the flexibility and entrepreneurship should be encouraged, a somewhat elastic but unbreakable process should exist in the background to keep the supply chain from deteriorating into a less-than efficient transfer of value.

Keep the blog going - I&#039;ll be sharing it wish several of my SC friends!</description>
